As a whole, Gas Operations is responsible for all aspects of PG&E's gas distribution and transmission operations, including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, restoration and emergency response. Position Summary: This is an IBEW Local 1245 represented classification, which has over 100 years of experience representing employees at PG&E. The Pipeline Inspector is a qualified Company representative who may perform all of the duties of the Construction Inspector and Utility Construction Inspector as described below and in addition may provide direct oversight of transmission and larger or more complex distribution construction projects involving steel or plastic pipe. This is a DOT covered classification and subject to random drug screening. This position will be used to fill vacancies in the Central Coast Region. Headquarter locations may vary.
