Work as a member of a crew to install new railroad track, maintain existing track and right-of-way.



Primary Activities and Responsibilities

* Ensure compliance with all railroad rules and regulations for safety, operations and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)

* Participate in group discussions including unit meetings, job briefings, safety meetings or process reviews

* Remove and replace track and track components (e.g. ties, rails, bars, etc.)

* Replace or repair track switches with specific components

* Slide and align tie plates

* Drill holes through rails for insertion of bolts and tighten or loosen bolts at joints that hold ends or rails together

* Correct deviations in track surface, alignment and gauge

* Cut rails to specific lengths

* Receive instructions, requests, orders, and information from posted bulletins, memorandums, rules and regulation manuals

* Adjust, lift and roll rails

* Sort track material for loading and unloading

* Install and repair street and railroad crossings

* Cut brush and vegetation from the right-of-way

* Spray switches, angle bars and joints with oil for lubrication

Job Description:

Serve as the senior advisor regarding training as it relates to the Center for Army Lessons Learned (CALL). Serve as broadly gauged expert in tactical and operational level organizations and operations, current operations in the CENTCOM AOR and the PACOM AOR, and knowledge of counter-asymmetric threat TTPs. Analyze the intelligence, operational Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), training, and material solution interrelationships to articulate an overarching strategy to combat asymmetric threats. Analyses are constantly on going in order to provide updates in each area to ensure the strategy and JCOP remain relevant. Anticipate and prioritize follow-on force training requirements for TAT. Monitor U.S. Army and U.S. Marines Corps follow-on force deployment notifications and update TAT.
Initiate coordination to deploying unit senior leaders (General/Flag Officer level) for organization Commander visits and TAT team assistance. Initiate coordination and prepare correspondence to redeploying unit senior leaders (General/Flag Officer level) for post operation debriefings by the TAT Team. Coordinate training strategy recommendations with TAT and IPT Lead. Facilitate counter-asymmetric threat TTP dissemination. Assist DA Staff Link to FORSCOM/TRADOC to tie together training solutions within a larger tactical/operational environment. Provide conduit for TAT analysis to Army Senior Leadership (specifically G-3 Sends). Assist command group in developing training programs for organization soldiers and members of the U.S. Armed Forces. Develop TTPs for counter asymmetric threats. Interact with the concepts integration cell and intelligence exploitation cell in order to operate as a “red cell” team to develop counter asymmetric TTPs before the threats are realized. Provide updates in each area to ensure the strategy and JCOP remain relevant.

Requirements:

• (20) years of relevant experience in land warfare component combat arms organizations with over (10) years of relevant experience with U.S. Special Operations Forces or U.S. Special Mission Units
• Experience should demonstrate expertise in terrorist, guerrilla and other asymmetric operations in order to advise the customer on planning, training and equipping with experience in red force planning and special operations forces
• Should demonstrate knowledge of current operations and emerging military organizations, capabilities, and doctrine is desired
• Demonstrated experience should also illustrate the ability to analyze current combat operations in order to identify causes of pre-deployment training gaps

• Experience should demonstrate competency at developing new ideas and insights while continuous learning about the area of expertise
• Multi-discipline qualifications should include organizational level conventional and unconventional war fighting tactics, operations, and training

Looking for a Change Management Program Manager with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This role will implement a Change Management process to manage the coordination, documentation and approval of change requests and publish change notifications to IT and the business communities. Will conduct feasibility analysis for all changes. Candidates must have experience handling sensitive reorganizational issues - new system usage impact, risk assessment, headcount reductions, etc. This role will help coordinate the training, elections and credit vertical coordinator communications as well. The person selected will manage weekly Change Management meetings to review scheduled changes and their impact and insure the change process is followed. This candidate will be experienced in all areas of project life cycle in a highly structured change management environment using both proprietary methodologies, Agile Techniques and RUP (Rational Unified Process).

Specific Duties:
The incumbent reviews proposed complex contracts between FEMA and public and private contractors. Reviews proposed contract amendments by contractors to assure justification for such amendments. Assures compliance with FEMA and Federal Insurance Administration procedures and requirements. Reviews, evaluates, and monitors highly technical work performed by private engineering consultants and other Federal Agencies conducting hazard analyses. Review activity as concentrated upon structural and hydraulic engineering study elements. Evaluation and review of these procedures require breadth of knowledge, depth and experience and sound engineering judgments.
The incumbent maintains knowledge of computer programs and procedures available for accomplishing hydrology studies and hydraulic engineering problems. Coordinates response to map revision petitions in consultation with the Floodplain Management and Insurance Branch, determining whether data submitted to represent development will demonstrate compliance with NFIP mapping standards and minimum federal and state standards for floodplain management (model building codes and code compliance), and assisting in the development and communication of remediation options where necessary. The incumbent coordinates with Federal agencies, State agencies, and private engineering firms to ensure uniformity of hydraulic, hydrologic and structural data between adjacent flood-prone areas for which flood insurance studies are being conducted. • Degree: professional engineering. The adequacy of such background must be demonstrated by one of the following:
o Professional registration - Current registration as a professional engineer by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico. As a minimum qualifications requirement for entry into the SES, applicants must provide evidence of progressively responsible leadership experience that is indicative of senior executive level managerial capability and directly related to the skills and abilities outlined under Mandatory Technical Qualifications and Executive Core Qualifications. Typically, experience of this nature will have been gained at or above the GS-15 grade level in the Federal service, or its equivalent with state or local government, the private sector, or nongovernmental organizations.

Provides high-level analysis and advice to the RC CAAT Team Leader, and as directed to other CAAT/ISAF elements. This position is for a security engineer that will assist with many facets of information security. Candidate will participate in system and software reviews/evaluations, risk analysis/assessment, and many other security centric tasks. Work will be full-time with a schedule set to satisfy the customer’s needs. Most work will be done on a normal day shift, but there is the possibility for weekend and evening work.

DUTIES: (Describe responsibilities and daily activities of the position)
- Review and revision of new or existing documentation
- Evaluation of government systems based upon DoD and local standards
- Review and suggest implementation of operating system software and applications
- Development of documentation to capture existing processes that lack documentation and/or to freshly document new requirements
- Provide input into a risk management approach that may require analysis and suggested action for mitigation
- Work with system administrators to evaluate adherence to security policies and guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Certifications:
- CISSP or CAP
- Certificate of training in relevant Computing Environment
- Certified Ethical Hacker certification not required but would be a strong plus

Background Needed and Years of Experience:
- 2 years or more in Information Assurance / Information Security

Technical Skills (Must have):
- Broad experience with Information Assurance / Information Security principles

Technical Skills (Preferred, but not required):
- Understanding of boundary protection (Firewall / Proxy / IDS) and layered defense approach
- Familiarity with non-Windows operating systems (Solaris, BSD, Linux platforms)
- Host Based security and Anti-Virus knowledge
- Experience with vulnerability scanning software (Nessus) and configuration validation
- System hardening strategies for Windows Servers (2003 and 2008) and Windows 7

Non-Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and write critically
