Duties and Responsibilities: This position will lead the design of various process and productivity improvement efforts. This position works with Customer Contact Center leadership and others in the position to develop improved customer communications during medical issues. This person will also be a part of the Unified Customer Communication project and a participant in a process review in the Business Customer Communication Center.

The successful candidate will need to develop a working knowledge of our products and services, labor contracts, Aspect and Crystal reporting. This individual must also establish and maintain key agent and center performance metrics and attend and support Team Leader calibration sessions and reviews of center and agent performance metrics. This person will need to have an understanding how the Customer Contact Center intersects with other departments in Customer Service and Customer Operations business units. He or she will need to understand all technologies and systems used in Customer Service and how they interact with each other.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
You qualify for this position at the GS-12 level if you possess the following: One year of specialized experience at the GS-11 level that demonstrates the ability to schedule individuals for training based on established student admission procedures, training calendars, defined course prerequisites and course objectives.

Time-in-Grade Requirements for Federal employees: Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The time-in-grade requirement must be met within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.

You will serve in the Center for Domestic Preparedness, National Training and Education Division, National Preparedness Directorate, Protection and National Preparedness, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Avanti Placements is seeking a Studio Engineer for a Radio Project on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. The radio station on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan consists of two studios, a newsroom and an office with a staff of three Americans and eight to fifteen Afghans.

Programming consists of locally-oriented newscasts (four at night, four in the morning) and special information segments, periodic sponsor messaging, and regional music and poetry. The station broadcasts 24/7 but is staffed from 0800-2000. The broadcast area is all of Pashto-speaking Afghanistan plus parts of Pakistan and Iran.


Duties for the Studio engineer include:
• Operating and maintaining a UNIX FTP server
• Monitoring and maintaining studio equipment and facilities
• Managing the expansion, upgrade and acquisition of studio equipment and facilities
• Digital editing of radio news and other broadcast content
• Loading news content and sponsor messages into a playlist for playback at specified times
• Supervising digital archiving of broadcast content
• Basic laptop and IT support
• Supervising and mentoring station technicians regarding radio production methods
• Monitoring and troubleshooting connectivity with remote broadcast towers
• Working to ensure customer satisfaction with and confidence in the station and its staff


Desired skills and abilities:
• Audio editing with Adobe Audition or similar software

The incumbents are responsible for assisting in the training, supervision, evaluation, and Department-wide coordination of work methods and products of Crime Analysts, Sheriff. Incumbents coordinate the work of crime analysis satellite units located at Sheriff Stations and specialized units, which are engaged in analyzing series, trends, and patterns of criminal and intelligence activity, utilizing tactical, strategic, and intelligence applications in crime-fighting efforts, identifying organized crime groups and criminal enterprises, and in the preparation of reports of actual and anticipated criminal activity for operation and investigative personnel to develop plans for deployment, prevention, and apprehension.
Essential Job Functions Supervises, inspects, monitors, and evaluates Crime Analysts, Sheriff, throughout the department in the performance of their duties.

Reviews and analyzes crime analysis and intelligence work products such as crime data reports, crime and intelligence charts, maps, bulletins, monthly report data, etc.

Specific Requirements: Experience matching one of the following three profiles:
1. Experienced in modern web development, including expert skills in writing JavaScript (particularly with jQuery), JSP, HTML, and CSS code. Experience with Spring-MVC and the overall Spring stack is preferred as well. Experience with keep a web tier codebase clean and organized (including the application of consistent coding and styling conventions) is desired as well.
2. Experienced in using the MarkLogic XML database, including expert skills with writing production XQuery code. Experience in modern web development, Spring-MVC, and the overall Spring stack is preferred as well.
3. Experienced in using the Twister Data Framework, including expert skills in writing Twister flows and components.
On this team, a developer must implement solutions for specifications defined via user stories within the context of a month-long iteration, where the specification is intended to evolve during the iteration. The developer is expected to work very closely with a systems engineer and a tester as the three strive to produce the best solution possible to meet the customer's requirements. As such, the ability to communicate openly and clearly with teammates is of the utmost importance.
While implementing solutions, the developer must write code that avoids duplication, can be understood via unit tests, exhibits a high percentage of code coverage via unit tests, can be changed easily by other developers, and adheres to the checks enforced by the team's continuous integration processes. The developer is expected to follow existing programming conventions on the team while also recommending new or better conventions where appropriate. The developer is also highly encouraged to recommend and implement processes that improve the team's overall development process and lead to higher-quality software that can be more easily maintained and changed.
The team requires cooperation, communication and continual tradecraft improvement; we are seeking a developer who strives to improve both the system under development and the team itself.
General Requirements: Analyze and study complex system requirements. Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses, as well as manage their implementation. This labor category is able to translate detailed design requirements into computer software. Implement COTS packages. Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce the required product. Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve mission efficiency. Provide technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.

Database Application Developer w/ Full Scope Poly – Ft Meade, MD
Serve as the database application development subject matter expert and developer on database and application development project teams. In this capacity the individual will participate in the customer requirement definition phase, provide design recommendations and conduct the application development. The individual will evaluate design and implementation of existing database and application systems to ensure optimal efficiency and performance of deployed systems. Participate in project test activities as required. Expected to be a key contributor to the Portal Development process. Work with the Project Manager and other key team members to gather requirements, design and implement applications in alignment with project schedule. Incorporate best practices, standards and processes as well as draw on team expertise and other NSA resources to provide timely, technically sound recommendations that meet customer requirements. Conduct demonstrations, briefings and status reports as required.
Work Experience and Skills Required: Working experience installing and configuring Oracle Application and Database servers in a multi-tiered environment (development/production). Experience with leading development efforts and all phases of the development life cycle. Knowledge of Public Key technologies (e.g. Public Key based authentication mechanisms) for applications, enabling, row and column security, Virtual Private Databases, and dynamically loading data to an Oracle database from XML. He/She must have a minimum of three years database application development experience.
A minimum of five years database application and/or web development experience to include:
- Develop Java applications (web-based and/or standalone) within an IDE and using industry-standard Java technologies such as Hibernate, Trinidad, Spring, Struts, JSF, JDBC, JNDI, Ant, etc.
+Strong GUI and Spring skills
- Develop web applications using industry-standard technologies such as html, css, javascript, ajax, etc.
- Relational database design experience (Oracle, MySQL) using a tool such as SQL Developer and the use of PL/SQL language for database code
- Experience in deployment of applications to a server using technologies such as Weblogic, Oracle Application Server (OAS), Tomcat, etc.
- Configuration management experience in regards to use of source code control tools (Subversion, CVS, etc.) and bug tracking tools (Trac, Bugzilla, etc.)
- Web services development and integration experience
- Experience with leading development efforts and all phases of the development life cycle to include delivery of major milestone artifacts (experience in agile methodology is desirable)
- Experience in system and/or software engineering processes and how to integrate/implement these with innovative design methods
- Strong oral and written communication and time management skills
- Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment
- Develop software within UNIX and Windows development environments

Project Manager. At a minimum, the Project Manager must have four (4) years of experience in administration and operations experience in manpower assessment. Duties:

CACI has an immediate opening for a Senior SAP Warehouse Analyst to support the Navy Supply Systems Command, Global Logistics Support (NAVSUP GLS) based in San Diego, CA. The position can be staffed in either of three locations: San Diego, CA or Mechanicsburg, PA or Norfolk, VA. As a member of NAVSUP GLS ERP Warehouse Management Team, will be responsible for the successful execution of the enterprise Warehouse Management (WM) program in support of worldwide ERP implementation.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Assist NAVSUP GLS ERP Program Manager and Warehouse Lead in execution of an enterprise-wide SAP Warehouse Management (WM) strategy. This includes configuration development/maintenance, and analysis of site specific WM configuration requirements. This team member will be responsible for configuration version control, updates, and changes based on input from other team members, field activities, NAVSUP, other Hardware System Commands and the Navy ERP Program Management Office. This position will assist as necessary in maintaining the Navy Warehouse Enterprise Systems (NWES) Configuration Management Guide which identifies the enterprise approach to a standard configuration process for submission of new or revised WM configuration into the ERP production environment.
* Assist as required in maintaining a NAVSUP GLS ERP Warehouse Implementation guide for site usage in implementing Navy ERP Warehouse Management.
* Contribute to WM training course development, with focus on organizational impacts on warehousing requirements and liaison between technical subject matter experts and training course development team.
* Analyze and correlate Warehouse functional requirements with SAP functionality, working closely with the Navy Warehouse Enterprise Systems team; coordinate and manage efforts of a matrixed team of functional experts at subordinate and partnered organizations to achieve effectiveness and consistency of Warehousing across the NAVSUP GLS enterprise; review/analyze impacts of ERP design to Warehousing Operations, identifying changes and gaps critical to the organization - and present Warehousing options to NAVSUP GLS ERP Program Manager.
* Provide Help Desk functional support in resolving outstanding customer help desk tickets, utilizing HEAT software, potentially including responsibility to manage HEAT queues, including assignment of tickets to other team members, following up on required actions, and developing/delivering management reports; functional business process workshops to analyze, identify, define and report Warehouse requirements as they relate to NAVSUP GLS business processes.

Required Qualifications:

Position requires bachelor's degree (in Business or related field) or equivalent (six years of Navy supply system experience will be considered in lieu of degree), and ten to twelve years of progressively responsible experience in logistics management. This experience must include:

* Knowledge and experience with SAP WM (ECC or SCM 5.0 or higher).
* A basic understanding of the Navy ERP Organizational Hierarchy for Company Codes, Plants, Storage Locations, Bins, and Sections.
* Knowledge of Navy AIT Wireless Handheld Technology; Bar Code and Passive RFID Scanning.

Must be eligible for a current favorable adjudication of DoD investigation for public trust positions (SF85P) to qualify. DoD clearance of SECRET or higher fulfills this requirement.

Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with U.S. Navy supply systems and organizations is big plus (documented experience working within Fleet Logistics community highly desirable (non-Fleet Logistics Center, NAVSUP experience will be considered)).

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for, performing a variety of leadership duties in the assigned work areas to prepare and maintain daily production reports, expedite orders, enter labor reports on computer, and ensure a quality standard, throughout the department to meet production requirements.
