Such support facilitates the planning, analysis, design; development, testing, configuration, implementation, integration, operation, maintenance, and restoration of IT networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats.

This is a Watch Officer position supporting the Current Operations Branch within the DCC. This position will be charged with monitoring the DISA portion of the GIG; specifically the NIPRnet and SIPRnet. Duties will include 24/7 monitoring, collaboration with the Global NetOps Security Center (GNSC) and Theater NetOps Centers (TNC) and reporting to US Cyber Command. Candidates will be required to provide formal and ad-hoc briefings to multiple levels of government management. They will also be required to collaborate with higher level engineers on course of action development as required by network events.

Candidates should have a strong background & experience in IP network technologies.
