Candidate will perform a full range of administrative duties in support of the USSOCOM Interagency Task Force (IATF) and Special Operations Support Teams (SOSTs) located in the National Capital Region using office automation tools and software such as word processing, databases, spreadsheets and graphics in support of administrative and clerical work. Candidate will prepare a wide variety of recurring and emergent correspondence, reports and other documents from information obtained from the USSOCOM staff, existing files and other sources as required. The position will require independent composition and preparation of non-technical correspondence such as: request for information concerning the organization's mission and programs; office procedures; letters of acknowledgment, commendation, or notifications; interpreting and adapting policies; guides; procedures; regulations; and precedents to new or unique situations. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities -

Shall have a thorough understanding of National, DoD and Service collection techniques, capabilities, and applications.

AWARD ANALYSIS AND SUPPORT. The procurement analyst shall perform the
following tasks related to Acquisition Policy; the procurement analyst
shall analyze difficult contracting issues, recommend a course of action,
and then follow up on the recommendation by drafting the necessary

SUPPORT. The procurement analyst shall provide professional support and

PLANNING. The procurement analyst shall perform the following planning
tasks: market research/analysis to determine availability of the

various acquisition problems.

QUALIFICATIONS. The applicant shall possess a Baccalaureate degree in a
business discipline or possess equivalent experience in the contracting
arena. The contractor shall be certified in DoD contracting at Level III or
shall have previously held a warrant as a Government Contracting Officer for
at least 2 years. It is highly desired that the applicant possess previous
Army/Air National Guard contracting experience directly related to the
requirements of the task order.

Desired Master's degree in the area of expertise required by the Task Order.
At least 8 years of Federal Contracting Experience required, with a credit
of 3 years experience provided against this requirement based upon a
Masters degree. Credit equivalent to an additional 3 years of experience for
individuals with at least 1 year of experience with an unlimited warrant.
Demonstrated experience in contract formation and administration matters.
Must have demonstrated ability in planning and coordination of procurement
activities for the pre-award, post-award, or other contractual functions.
Knowledge of a variety of contract types, and price/cost analysis, analyzes
difficult contracting issues and recommends appropriate course of action.
Provides business recommendations and aid t technical personnel involved in
development of the statement of work or data requirements.

The applicant shall have the ability to provide sound business advice,
possess a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and
